HEATING ELEMENT
MATERIAL & TYPE : Kanthal make A1 strip element in corrugated formation is provided and fixed inside walls.

CONSTRUCTION

CASING :

The casing is fabricated out of MS plate with angle/channel reinforced for rigidity and robust construction for longer life. Front plate is MS 8mm thick in segmental design and bolted to front side of the outer frame and four numbers of lifting eyes are provided on furnace top side for easy handling purpose. The furnace is fabricated to withstand the operational stress and made in segmental design for easy shipment purpose.

BOGIE:

Bogie will be moved horizontally on 6 Nos. casting wheels mounted on pillow block bearing and rails will be provided for bogie movement. Bogie operation is with suitable capacity reduction gear motor with brake assembly and it will be operated by sprocket and chain system.

Bogie drive is mounted on bogie and thermally insulated. Bogie lining will be IS8 STD refractory bricks backed up with Hot/Cold face insulation of suitable thickness. The top of the bogie is covered with AISI SS 304 casting plate to protect the brick during loading and unloading of the charge.

The bottom of the bogie will be sealed by pneumatic system and front /back is provided with ceramic fibre rope sealing to avoid heat loss.

DOOR:

Door is supported with cross removable structure. The door sealing ceramic fibre rope and lining is ceramic fibre insulation.

The door construction will be such that there will be no heat leakage during its close position so as to eliminate any warpage due to heat.

Door is self sealing type. In addition to that pneumatic locking system provided.

COOLING SYSTEM:

To achieve the cooling rate of 50 to 120 deg c per hour, 1 No. Blower provided on the top of the furnace Exhaust Port. The exhaust port open / close by pneumatic valve and automatically through PLC. 2 Nos fresh air inlet provided on the bottom side of the furnace with auto flap system. The exhaust duct is thermally insulated.

THERMOCOUPLE:

Simplex ‘K’ type, thermocouple in ceramic casing will be provided. (4 Nos. of simplex and 4 nos of duplex). 12 Nos. MI flexible ‘K’ type Thermocouple provided for job measurement and uniformity.
